An accomplished occupational therapist with more than 17 years of experience with wide range of clinical expertise in rehabilitation from birth to elderly with physical, cognitive and swallowing disabilities. Worked in multiple tertiary care hospitals like MAX Super Specialty Hospital, saket and MEDANTA. Performed as a team member, neurorehabilitation & dysphagia program team leader and also as a deputy manager in the department of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Pioneer and certified (from Spain & Singapore) user of NMES & BIOFEEDBACK like technologies for the treatment of dysphagia or swallowing disorders in India since 2008. Possess good skills and knowledge in instrumentally assessing and treating dysphagia patients with conditions like head neck cancer, stroke, auto immune disorders, parkinsonism, progressive supranuclear palsy, cerebral palsy, critically ill and with tracheostomy.
